Cortex can send and receive emails via a MAPI compliant email application
		on the host PC e.g. MS Outlook, allowing use of existing address book, etc.
		Cortex can alternatively use its own direct email access, in which case
		emails can be steered to specific users message services
		Checks for received emails at regular intervals
		When emails arrive and a room is or becomes occupied, it can announce
		them over the room intercom. The announcement is configurable for relevant
		information
		Allows emails to be sent upon particular user defined events. These may
		contain status information about the property, including image attachments
		Allows password secured commands to be received via email, which may
		control various aspects of the system
