SLD-W01

This module is a true ‘No Neutral’ inline dimmer with a WiFi interface. This means it can be used in place of a single conventional light switch without any wiring modifications nor any additional components at the lamp fixture. The only requirement is that the associated lighting circuit should be comprised of plain dimmable LED lamps or incandescent lamps within the total stated wattage limits. The module will thus allow you to control the state and brightness of the connected lighting circuit either via the on board buttons and/or wirelessly via some WiFi connected automation entity. The module implements the IDRATEK IOTA-WiFi protocol so can be comprehensively controlled and interrogated wirelessly via Cortex and other WiFi enabled IDRATEK components, but it also provides other open methods for 3rd party access  – via MQTT, and a URL based API  (web hooks).

The two buttons allow on/off and brightness control and/or can also be assigned to other functions. Two indicator LEDs may be associated with button functions or used for other purposes.

Please note that this module cannot be used with any types fluorescent lamps, nor with any type of lamps described as ‘step dimmable’, ‘colour controllable’,  ‘smart’ or any such description which implies not plain dimmable.
