The SRH-WL1 is a WiFi enabled module which communicates with Cortex and other IDRANet modules via the IDRANet Over The Air (IOTA) protocol. It integrates a number of basic input/output elements suited to general purpose power switching activities. The module is powered directly from the mains. The 16A rated SPCO output directly switches the Live feed (L) to either the NO or NC contact. This makes wiring more convenient for basic AC load switching applications. If you require a volt free output relay or to switch DC loads then use the SRH-W01 instead. A digital input is provided which can be used for volt free binary sensors or switches. An analogue input is also provided which can connect directly to 10kohm thermistor probes as commonly used for underfloor heating probes. Note that the output is not internally fuse protected so requires an external fuse or MCB protected circuit. A basic thermostat function is implemented in the firmware which allows the module to be used for temperature control without external agents. If enabled, this function can also act as a safety trip mechanism when external software is in control.
